Why:  A key part of keeping the US secure is US Customs and Border Protection’s ability to secure the border while facilitating lawful international trade and travel.  This requires a robust, modern, and evolving information, communications, and technology infrastructure networked across land, sea, and air over the entire country.

What:  Delivered organizational strategy and operations transformation consulting for the network architecture and engineering organization within CBP.  Leveraging expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, and COBIT frameworks we dramatically increased organizational efficiency by consolidating workgroups by 50% and streamlining the services portfolio from 60 to 11 core services.  This new Concept of Operations improved CBP’s capability to manage project quality and make more timely project decisions.
