Building an Enterprise Architecture Roadmap

Why: For 75 years, the National Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) has played a valuable role in helping people conserve, maintain, and improve our natural resources and environment.

What: Because over 70% of the land in the United States is privately owned, the organization is distributed to almost every county in the US. The success of the IT mission depends heavily on providing access to immense volumes of historic and geospatial information related to soil, air, and land health. We worked with the NRCS Enterprise Architect to develop a business plan for EA and an implementation roadmap that bridges the strategic mission and the agency’s information technology needs.
