An earthquake fault line in the Southern California desert

Why. After a series of major earthquakes damaged buildings and infrastructure at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, our client needed to develop a design-build RFP on an accelerated schedule in order to return mission capability as soon as possible.

What. Technical Assent provided accurate cost and schedule information to allow our client to make informed cost-design decisions. This project involved the demolition and replacement of more than 75,000 square feet of weapons testing facilities, including the necessary infrastructure improvements. Our team worked closely with the design architects and engineers to translate the scoping documents into comprehensive cost estimates and schedules. We provided detailed cost estimates, CSRAs, and schedules at each design iteration. We also led Basis of Design/Basis of Estimate alignment workshops to ensure our client received accurate estimates, schedules, and risk analyses that agreed with the most recent design updates.
